WiFi or remote: which control do you actually need
The Curtain Robot comes in two control variants. The difference isn't just price — it's what you actually need from the device.
WiFi + app: when you're not always in the room
If you want your curtains to run on a schedule, open them while you're at work, or connect them to Alexa/Google Home, the WiFi variant is the only option that makes that possible. It's also the default choice for most homes — it's the kind of control most people end up wanting anyway.
Remote: when simplicity is the priority
If the goal is simply to avoid opening and closing curtains by hand, and the app and schedule aren't important to you, a remote control covers that need at a lower price. No app connection, no voice control — just a button.
What you lose without WiFi
Without the WiFi variant, there's no remote control via phone, no scheduling, no integration with smart speakers. For apartments, weekend homes, or longer absences, that's a difference you'll feel.
How to choose
The question isn't "which is better" but "where are the curtains." For a bedroom you're in every day, remote might be enough. For everything else — especially spaces where you're not always present — the WiFi variant is the one that solves the real problem.
You choose either variant directly on the product page, where the price updates instantly as you pick.
